• We’re looking for a Portfolio Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team in the US.
• A core part of Addepar’s business relies on quickly and correctly ingesting data from various sources.
• You will build and maintain the transformation and cleaning steps of our ETL pipeline.
• This role is crucial for minimizing manual data cleaning efforts.
• Write code and design pipeline architecture.
• Build pipelines for ingestion, analysis, and enrichment of financial data.
• Improve existing pipelines for better data throughput and accuracy.
• Work with data analysts to map financial concepts to internal data models.
• Use tools and queries to flag irreconcilable data in production datasets.
• Contribute to challenging engineering projects within our data infrastructure.

Requirements

• Prior Data Engineering experience, preferably in Financial Services.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related technical field.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with technologies like Python, Apache Spark, Java, AWS, SQL.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Interest in data modeling, visualization, and ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of financial concepts is encouraged but not necessary.
