Overview

The Orthotic Fitter provides on-site customer service and orthotic fitting based on prescribed treatments and recommendations made by the physician. They are trained to provide fitting services and delivery of these products, impacting the overall success of the branch by increasing sales and promoting quality customer service.

In Short

  • Provide on-site customer service and orthotic fitting.
  • Collaborate with practitioners to evaluate patient needs.
  • Perform fittings and execute minor modifications.
  • Instruct patients on the use of prescribed devices.
  • Monitor and adjust devices for patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Frequent travel to facilities and patient homes.
  • Develop rapport with physicians and referral sources.
  • Provide training to patients and caregivers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and Certification in Orthotics.
  • Or Certified through National Athletic Trainers Association/BOC with a college degree.
  • Must obtain national certification within one year.
  • Two years of experience under a certified practitioner.
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience in healthcare.
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence.
