Overview

As a Web Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a high-integrity measurement system across digital properties, ensuring accurate and actionable data.

In Short

• Own and maintain custom dataLayer architecture.
• Build and manage triggers, variables, and tags in Google Tag Manager.
• Implement and monitor marketing pixels ensuring compliance.
• Troubleshoot and QA signal loss or data discrepancies.
• Architect and maintain GA4 360 setup.
• Manage GA4 > BigQuery exports and build advanced queries.
• Build and maintain LookML models and dashboards.
• Create self-service reporting environments for teams.
• Translate business needs into tracking specifications.
• Serve as the go-to partner for measurement-related queries.

Requirements

• Experience with Google Tag Manager and dataLayer implementation.
• Strong understanding of GA4 360 and BigQuery.
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA compliance.
• Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Experience with Looker and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Technical background in data analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects.

• Ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
