IT Manager - Remote

Overview

ActBlue is seeking a hands-on, people-first IT Manager to lead our Desktop Support and Systems Administration teams while driving broader IT strategy and operations in a fully remote environment.

In Short

• Manage a blended team of Desktop Support Specialists and Systems Administrators.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee IT budget planning and vendor relationships.
• Implement automated onboarding/offboarding workflows.
• Support and maintain a library of 130+ SaaS applications.
• Lead incident response for internal IT outages.
• Monitor support trends and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on access needs and audit readiness.
• Drive automation initiatives around identity and access management.
• Maintain strong security hygiene and coordinate access reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT operations, including team management.
• Experience with MDM tools (preferably JAMF) and identity providers (Okta).
• Proven track record of IT budget management.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with infrastructure planning and strategic IT decision-making.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with executive leadership.
• Experience supporting a remote-first workforce.
• Project management certification preferred.
• Experience with scripting for automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and IT audits.
