Part-Time Associate Social Media Officer - Remote

Overview

The Associate Social Media Officer will support the Senior Social Media Officer in creating engaging content and managing ACLED’s social media strategy in a fully remote environment.

In Short

• Assist in executing social media strategy.
• Create content and schedule posts across platforms.
• Design visual assets using Canva.
• Track and analyze social media engagement.
• Monitor relevant conversations and audience behavior.
• Provide administrative support to the senior officer.
• Help maintain ACLED’s digital library.
• Work flexible hours during European time zone.
• Collaborate across departments.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or French is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or social sciences.
• At least one year of experience in social media management.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Good judgment and attention to detail.
