In Short

• Design, prototype, and evaluate new machine learning and NLP models.
• Conduct applied research to improve model accuracy, robustness, interpretability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to transition research prototypes into scalable systems.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers and subject-matter experts.
• Own experiments end-to-end: hypothesis generation, dataset creation, experimentation, evaluation, and delivery.
• Stay current with the latest AI/ML research.
• Contribute to internal research initiatives and help define scientific strategy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Applied Scientist or similar role.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, NLP, or deep learning.
• Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (PyTorch preferred).
• Experience designing experiments and evaluating model performance.
• Ability to translate research ideas into practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
