Overview

The Director of Development and Communications is responsible for leading all revenue-generation, brand-building, and external-relations activities at Accounting Aid Society. This role involves overseeing fundraising, marketing, and communications efforts to promote economic mobility and alleviate poverty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive fundraising experience.
  • 3+ years of experience supervising staff or contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency in fundraising software and databases.
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector is advantageous.
