Overview

The 1095 Customer Supervisor works with the Customer Relations team to investigate and resolve issues affecting enrollment of consumers in the Access Health CT Exchange system. The primary focus of the role is to ensure high quality customer service and resolution of customer 1095A issues, auditing 1095A updates made by the 1095A team and serving as a subject matter expert (SM) regarding 1095A issues.

  • Supervise Customer Relations Specialists in providing high-level customer service.
  • Hold team members accountable for timely issue resolution.
  • Audit 1095A updates and corrections.
  • Manage call center issues and backlogs.
  • Provide feedback to support staff growth.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
  • Develop internal processes for the team.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 1095A issues.
  • Handle escalated inquiries from customers and stakeholders.
  • Complete management reports as required.

Requirements

  • BS in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in health insurance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining procedures.
