Overview

The Principal is responsible for the development, implementation and achievement of the school’s academic vision, student advancement and daily operations, ensuring successful academic outcomes for all students.

• Lead Data Driven Instructional efforts and support staff in using data.
• Plan summer educational opportunities and supplemental programs.
• Ensure effective implementation of instructional programs across grade bands.
• Monitor teacher performance metrics and ensure accountability.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education or related discipline required.
• Current valid West Virginia Principal and Teacher license.
• Three or more years of experience in an online school in an instructional leadership role.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in coaching teachers to improve instructional planning.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
