SAP Finance Functional Consultant - Controlling - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant specializing in Controlling (CO) with a strong focus on Asset Accounting (AA) and Project Systems (PS). This role will support the end-to-end Design-to-Deploy phases of an S/4HANA implementation, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver a robust financial solution that aligns with organizational and regulatory requirements.

In Short

• Conduct fit-gap analysis to map client L4 business processes against latest S/4HANA Finance capabilities.
• Produce key deliverables such as Functional Specifications and Configuration Design Rationale.
• Configure SAP S/4HANA modules: Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), and Project Systems (PS).
• Support integration design with MM, SD, PM, and other Finance components.
• Develop test scripts for Unit, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Contribute to cutover planning and execution, including master data load and reconciliations.
• Deliver end-user training and prepare training materials.
• Provide post-go-live support and stabilization during hypercare.
• Minimum 5+ years of SAP Finance/Controlling experience required.
• Strong understanding of Design-to-Deploy activities.

Requirements

• Deep functional knowledge of Controlling (CO), Asset Accounting (AA), and Project Systems (PS).
• Proven experience integrating Finance processes with MM, SD, and PM.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
• Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred.
