In Short

• Lead and scale the engineering organization responsible for building high-quality SaaS products.
• Drive technical strategy and champion best-in-class engineering practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Operations, and other cross-functional leaders.
• Oversee Agile/Scrum processes for efficient software releases.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
• Establish and enforce security protocols in line with financial regulations.
• Define and track key performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical strategies to executive leadership.
• Foster a culture of psychological safety and open communication.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and mitigate technical risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s or MBA a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in software development with 5 years in senior leadership.
• Proven background in architecting cloud-native, distributed systems.
• Strong familiarity with AWS, Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems or similar financial solutions.
• Experience implementing Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional people-management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to set clear objectives and define roadmaps for engineering success.
• Results-driven mindset focused on quality and continuous improvement.
• Passion for mentoring and coaching engineers at all levels.
