Software Engineer II, Cloud Infrastructure - Remote

Overview

Abnormal AI is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Cloud Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for Abnormal’s presence in the public cloud and ensuring our use of the cloud is secure, reliable, and repeatable while meeting the needs of our engineering team.

In Short

• Work with AWS, Azure, and other cloud providers
• Use DevOps principles in your work
• Build systems for managing the public cloud using Python and/or Golang
• Provide guidance and support to internal engineering teams
• Participate in the recruiting process
• Actively seek and incorporate feedback
• Ensure efficient use of public cloud technologies
• Manage your time and commitments
• Communicate clearly
• Introduce and own new features to existing systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 6+ years in a DevOps focused role
• 3+ years of experience with AWS
• 3+ years experience with Linux systems and networking
• Programming experience in Python or Golang
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
