Study Management Associate III - Remote

Overview

The Study Management Associate (SMA) is responsible for driving and facilitating the end-to-end process for Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) from intake through publication, connecting various functional areas within Medical Affairs and R&D.

• Drive the end-to-end process for Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS).
• Support the Study Project Manager in study execution.
• Lead cross-functional study teams and manage study documentation.
• Develop study protocols and associated systems.
• Manage vendor selection and compliance.
• Conduct routine monitoring of study data.
• Project manage externally sponsored research.
• Ensure inspection readiness and participate in audits.
• Contribute to team culture and mentor junior staff.
• Communicate with stakeholders on operational aspects of studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a scientific field preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
• High level of core and technical competencies.
• Exposure to study initiation through completion preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
