Associate Director, Product Safety Team Project Management - Remote

Overview

This position reports into the Office of the PST (part of Strategic Operations) in the Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety, Epidemiology & R&D Quality Assurance (PSEQ) organization. The PSEQ organization works collaboratively and strategically with colleagues across the product lifecycle to identify, evaluate, understand and communicate the safety profile of our drugs to protect patients worldwide.

In Short

• Shape and drive PST strategic priorities.
• Manage multiple complex Product Safety Teams across Therapeutic Areas.
• Support PST Lead in framing safety issues and making decisions.
• Manage escalation of safety issues to management and Safety Review Board.
• Strengthen internal partnership/influence and external engagement.
• Promote best practices and knowledge sharing within PSTs.
• Drive timely development of key PST deliverables.
• Lead inspection/audit readiness activities.
• Ensure safety deliverable timeliness and quality levels.
• Potential for role leveling based on experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare discipline; advanced degree is desirable.
• At least 7 years of project management experience in a global company.
• Strong understanding of the drug development process.
• Experience in clinical operations, drug development, or drug safety operations.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a quickly changing environment.
• Experience influencing senior management.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in multidisciplinary team situations.
