Full Stack Web Developer (Node.js / React / Next.js) - Remote

Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Web Developer based in Bangsar, with flexibility for some remote work. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications.

In Short

• Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js.
• Implement SSR/SSG/ISR for SEO, performance, and scalability.
• Ensure responsive, mobile-first design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Design and develop APIs using Node.js (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Integrate with third-party services and payment gateways.
• Work with headless CMS platforms like WordPress and Strapi.
• Design and maintain databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Participate in deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay up to date with the latest web development technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full stack web development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and Next.js.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of website operations, performance, and security.
• Comfortable working in a Linux/server environment.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Able to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
