Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Computer Vision - Remote

Overview

The Advanced Digital Design and Manufacturing team seeks to accelerate Airbus’s transition towards digital design and manufacturing. The team is uniquely positioned to identify and innovate on emerging technologies with collaborators in Silicon Valley and across the globe. The team is focused on delivering impactful research, pilots, and in some cases products to improve the quality and efficiency of Airbus manufacturing facilities and engineering workflows.

In Short

• Work closely with the Advanced Manufacturing Project Executive.
• Deliver high value projects and breakthrough innovation.
• Design, implement and deploy perception algorithms and systems.
• Collect and process sensor data for machine learning.
• Scale up model training and build data pipelines.
• Conduct model quality metrics evaluation and error analysis.
• Participate in code and architecture reviews.
• Create presentations and documentation for stakeholders.
• Support development of production software tools.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in computer vision and machine learning.
• Skilled in Python/C++ software development.
• Experience in camera calibration and computer vision libraries.
• Excellent communication skills.
