Overview

As a Sales Development Representative at 8x8, you will play a crucial role in identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities, contributing to the company's mission of enhancing customer experience through innovative communication solutions.

In Short

  • Identify and generate sales opportunities via inbound and outbound calls.
  • Meet/exceed Sales Accepted and Sales Qualified Leads (SAL & SQL) goals monthly.
  • Qualify inbound prospects based on agreed criteria.
  • Engage in outbound prospecting to drive opportunities with named accounts.
  • Host calls and video meetings with prospects and sales teams.
  • Receive extensive formal and ongoing training.
  • Work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of 8x8's offerings and industry knowledge.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be a positive and results-driven individual with a hunter mentality.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of sales or account development experience preferred.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Fearlessness in engaging with new people daily.
  • Strong desire to compete and win.
  • Exceptional phone presence and ability to handle rejection.
  • Ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and listening skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
