Quality Engineering Architect - Remote

Overview

As our Quality Engineering Architect, you will define the strategic direction of our test automation capabilities, establish architectural standards, and guide our SDET team in building scalable, maintainable testing solutions that serve multiple product teams across our platform.

In Short

• Design and build a Python-based test automation framework.
• Define architectural guidelines for test automation.
• Create reusable tooling for SDETs and QEs.
• Establish standards for test code quality.
• Serve as a liaison between QE and Architecture Teams.
• Present architectural decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document architectural decisions and guidelines.
• Lead architectural review sessions.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD integration.
• Mentor senior SDETs and quality engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software quality engineering experience.
• Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Expert-level Python proficiency.
• Track record of architectural decision-making.
• Strong expertise in PyTest and modern Python testing.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Cloud platform experience, preferably AWS.
• Exceptional communication skills with technical audiences.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
