Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN - Remote

Overview

The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care for assigned patients, participating in decision-making and quality improvement activities.

• No dialysis experience necessary; comprehensive training provided.
• No Sundays, night shifts, or on-call hours.
• Accountable for patient care including assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Delegates tasks to nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team.
• Performs ongoing collection and analysis of patient data.
• Administers medications and documents patient responses.
• Participates in staff training and orientation.
• Ensures compliance with health care policies and regulations.
• May require travel to training sites or other facilities.
• Must complete CAP requirements to advance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification required.
• Entry-level position for RNs with less than 2 years of experience.
• Preferred experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis.
• Ability to perform physical demands of the job.
• Must be able to work in a healthcare facility environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
