Overview

The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing chronic hemodialysis care and treatment while leading the hemodialysis team and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Educate patients and families about End Stage Renal Disease and treatment.
• Maintain safe and effective use of all equipment involved in patient care.
• Assist with staff training and orientation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (R.N.).
• Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 9 months nursing experience with 3 months in dialysis care.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a healthcare facility environment.
• Willingness to travel between assigned facilities.
• Ability to handle emergencies and assess patient needs effectively.
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
