Overview

The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) provides and coordinates clinically competent care for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease, participating in decision-making and quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience preferred.
• Minimum 9 months experience as an RN preferred.
• Successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet employment conditions including color blindness test.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education.
• Ability to perform essential nursing functions and patient care.
• Must be able to lift and move patients and equipment as required.
• Participates in staff training and orientation of new staff.
