Overview

The Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct patient care in a dialysis setting, ensuring safe and effective treatment while adhering to regulatory and company policies.

In Short

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients.
• Perform technical aspects of dialysis procedures.
• Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters.
• Assist in patient education regarding dialysis therapy.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN).
• Current state licensure as an LPN or LVN.
• One year of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job.
• Must meet color blindness test requirements.
• Participate in training programs as required.
• Willingness to provide coverage during short-staffing situations.
