Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer at 3Pillar, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance data-driven decision making for our clients, contributing to projects that reshape data analytics.

• Understand business requirements and implement solutions.
• Create and manage data pipelines, ensuring version control.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes for data extraction and manipulation.
• Design and maintain batch or real-time data pipelines.
• Automate data workflows including data ingestion and aggregation.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.
• Work with cloud Data Warehouse solutions like Snowflake and Redshift.
• Utilize Big Data technologies including Spark and Hadoop.
• Communicate effectively and solve complex problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or similar role.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Strong Python skills with data libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with data pipeline management tools like Airflow.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure data services.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience with data ingestion tools is a plus.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases is desired.
