Oncology Field Medical Director - Thoracic (MD) - Remote

Overview

The Oncology Field Medical, Director is responsible for providing therapeutic area/product expertise for the designated therapeutic area across a broad range of Medical customer segments and initiatives in an assigned territory.

In Short

• Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant therapeutic area and Pfizer medicines.
• Serve as a resource for Medical Information and customer insights.
• Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines.
• Identify medical engagement from priority customer segments.
• Lead advisory boards and manage inbound queries from HCPs.
• Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs in clinical trial site identification.
• Provide Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research process.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in special projects.
• Travel 60-80% of the time for HCP/customer meetings.

Requirements

• MD or DO Degree required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Oncology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to handle customer demands.
• Experience in a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate change agility.
• Problem-solving and networking skills.
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency in delivering results.
• Familiarity with internal/external SOPs regarding Pfizer interactions.
