Engineering Manager, Platform - Remote

• Build and grow a full-stack team of engineers focused on shipping a high-quality platform at scale
• Drive engineering excellence in maintainability, performance, and attention to detail
• Triage incoming asks, considering tradeoffs with product and organizational context
• Maintain awareness of team status and capacity, escalating blockers across projects
• Contribute code for complex features and bugs as needed
• Create stability and clarity within the team in an ambiguous environment
• Own hiring and developing top technical talent for your team

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as an engineer (this is a hands-on role!)
• 2+ years of experience as a manager leading a consumer-facing product team
• Strong technical background building APIs at scale
• Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional partners
• Experience recruiting and scaling engineering teams in high-growth environments
• Exceptional communication and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated success in building teams that deliver consistently to external users
• US / EU Time zone
