Overview

The Procurement Manager is responsible for the execution of the category & sourcing strategy, cost price reduction, supplier management, and developing a global sourcing network in their respective category.

In Short

• Accountable for devising and implementing the category & sourcing strategy.
• Interacts closely with brand, product, and inventory teams.
• Conducts global supplier sourcing and manages supplier selection.
• Collaborates with Sourcing Cost Analyst for data-driven procurement activities.
• Prepares and executes the sourcing and tendering process.
• Leads negotiations on purchasing conditions and prices.
• Responsible for developing awarding scenarios and supplier choices.
• Ensures security of supply by monitoring suppliers' capacities.
• Conducts supplier management and negotiates commercial penalties.
• Prepares management reporting on supplier performance indicators.

Requirements

• Completed business studies or comparable professional training.
• 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, buying, and procurement.
• Experience in strategic purchasing activities.
• Supply market knowledge and supplier development capabilities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and experience with key business figures.
• Project management experience.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Business fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
