Demand and Inventory Manager - Remote

Overview

The Demand and Inventory Manager will be responsible for improving availability and driving inventory performance at zooplus, a leading online pet platform in Europe.

• Align on consensus demand on supplier/SKU level.
• Create transparency on OOS/OV and its root causes using data analytics.
• Coordinate cross-functional actions to resolve inventory issues.
• Identify and drive projects to improve processes and tools.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Brand, and Product teams on demand planning.
• Manage purchasing and inventory predictions.
• Contribute to the S&OP process with strategic plans.
• Analyze KPIs to provide transparency on root causes.
• Implement corrective actions for stock issues.
• Lead supply chain integration projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a project-oriented or analytical role.
• University degree with a quantitative focus.
• Advanced Excel; SQL and Power BI are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills across various seniorities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a can-do attitude.
• Track record of exceptional project results.
• Fluency in English.
