Remote Inventory Manager

Overview

We are seeking an Inventory Manager who excels in forecasting, critical thinking, and problem-solving within the Amazon ecosystem. This role involves strategic planning to ensure adequate stock levels while avoiding overstock or expirations.

In Short

• Part-time remote position with PST work hours after initial training.
• Manage and track stock levels across multiple locations.
• Use inventory management tools to forecast inventory needs.
• Develop reorder strategies considering manufacturing lead times.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and 3PL providers.
• Analyze sales trends to refine inventory strategies.
• Prepare reports on inventory performance and risks.
• Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Explore new tools and best practices for inventory management.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot inventory issues.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory management, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Amazon’s inventory constraints.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with third-party logistics is a plus.
• Proficiency in using analytical tools for forecasting.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Strong organizational skills.
