Overview

The Title Examiner Associate will join Spruce's Title Solutions team, focusing on delivering high-quality title examination services to ensure a smooth real estate closing process.

In Short

• Conduct searches on County records and other databases.
• Review search packages, tax certificates, and attorney title opinion letters.
• Identify requirements and exceptions for Title Commitments.
• Update title commitments as new information becomes available.
• Review and approve various legal documents related to title.
• Adhere to performance metrics and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with search vendors and internal teams.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.
• Utilize title production software and other tools effectively.
• Provide excellent communication to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4 years minimum of title examiner experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in search and exam title work, preferably at a national scale.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency with title production software, DataTrace, Pacer, and Lexis/Nexis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files under tight deadlines.
• Proactive and resourceful problem solver.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes in requirements.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
