Staff Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Develop and operate distributed platform services and backend components in Go
• Build automation and internal tools for deployment, scaling, and monitoring
• Optimize stateful infrastructure like Redis, GCP Pub/Sub, and PostgreSQL
• Improve observability across systems - metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting
• Support high-severity incident response and system hardening efforts
• Participate in shared on-call rotation
• Collaborate with engineers to design reliable systems
• Mentor peers on infrastructure and Go development best practices

Requirements

• Senior-to-staff-level experience in infrastructure engineering or SRE
• Production experience with Go
• Deep experience with GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of observability and reliability engineering
• Ability to design and build internal platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD and production deployment strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Track record of owning large-scale projects
• Experience in startup environments is a plus
