Accounting Clerk - Remote

Overview

As an Accounting Clerk at Zensurance, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with financial reporting and analysis while working closely with finance analysts and clerks.

In Short

• Handle journal entries and maintain ledgers.
• Assist with monthly, weekly, and quarterly financial reporting.
• Manage credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Review accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Process bank requisitions and maintain financial data.
• Utilize Excel for reporting dashboards.
• Work with SAP for financial data management.
• Prepare monthly cash forecasts and monitor cash needs.
• Identify financial trends and suggest improvements.
• Assist in procurement and issuing virtual credit cards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of ASPE or IFRS standards.
• Intermediate to high-level Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Familiarity with GSuite and Salesforce is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
