BizOps Specialist - Remote

Overview

This role focuses on scaling Zed, adapting responsibilities as the business evolves.

In Short

• Create order from ambiguity, translating startup problems into stage-appropriate solutions
• Drive high quality and high speed decision making across the company
• Design and automate lightweight processes across Zed
• Enable everyone at Zed to do their job at their best
• Operate and extend our data stack (dbt + Snowflake + Hex + Amplitude) for trustworthy analysis
• Partner with external accountants and lawyers on monthly financials
• Formalize and drive our all-company quarterly feedback cadence
• Implement GTM tooling as we ramp up our business SKU
• Lead the leadership team in building quarterly board materials

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience at tech companies, with at least 2 in early-to-mid stage, high-growth environments
• Strong SQL proficiency
• Comfort with ambiguity, moving quickly, and deep ownership
• Hands-on experience building processes, dashboards, automations, and internal tools
• Self-motivated with strong prioritization and execution skills
• An understanding of SaaS finance (ARR/NRR, CAC/LTV, cohorts)
