Synthesis or Formal Verification Developer - Remote

You might know YosysHQ from our many Open Source EDA Projects. We are the maintainers of Yosys and the accompanying Open Source EDA ecosystem. Our team is pushing the boundaries of EDA in interesting and unexpected ways, and making these tools and methodologies available for professionals, hobbyists and academics alike.

In Short

• Flexible remote role as an independent contractor/freelancer.
• Contribute to synthesis or formal verification areas.
• Comfortable with C++ or Rust, willing to learn others.
• Familiarity with hardware model checking is a plus.
• Experience in RTL hardware design is beneficial.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Team meetings usually between 3pm and 6pm Vienna time.
• Flat pay hierarchy with a rate of 6000€/month for full-time work.
• Open to passionate and skilled individuals, even if backgrounds don't perfectly align.
• Excited to hear from candidates who have contributed to open-source tools.

Requirements

• Comfortable with C++ or Rust.
• Experience with RTL hardware design (ideally for ASIC).
• Background in verification or formal methods is beneficial.
• Ability to manage tasks independently.
• Familiarity with large pre-existing projects.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
