We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the optimal performance of our computer systems and networks.

In Short

Provide first-level and escalated technical support to end-users through help desk ticketing system
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and network equipment
Perform regular system maintenance and updates to optimize performance
Monitor system health and implement preventive measures
Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes
Deliver remote desktop support to users across the organization
Implement and maintain security protocols to protect organizational data
Collaborate with IT team members to enhance support processes
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security rights

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2+ years of experience in IT support or similar technical role
CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent technical certifications
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with help desk systems and remote desktop tools
Demonstrated expertise in system monitoring and maintenance
Basic scripting and automation skills
Knowledge of cloud services and virtual machine management
Familiarity with ITIL practices and procedures
