Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Accountant at Yepoda, you will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with German accounting standards, and support the team as we continue to scale.

In Short

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Assist and take ownership with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation.
• Support during the statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations.
• Support on implementing ERP system and setting up new projects and flows from scratch on.
• Prepare cash flow statements and monitor cash on hand.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support other departments with financial insights.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting.
• Fluent in English, German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentality.
• Process driven and excited about setting up new projects and flows from scratch on.
• Experience in e-commerce and cross-border VAT is a plus.
• Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and experience with DATEV are a plus.
