Overview

The Latino Cultural Center (La Casa Cultural de Julia de Burgos) seeks a student-centered, highly motivated professional to assist in the implementation of programs and services that support student success and facilitate intercultural engagement throughout the campus community.

In Short

• Assist in the implementation of programs supporting student success.
• Collaborate with campus and community partners.
• Develop and execute the center’s strategic planning.
• Provide general management and supervision of the center.
• Coordinate signature programs and annual traditions.
• Engage with faculty, staff, and community partners.
• Manage relationships with academic departments.
• Support various student organizations.
• Oversee the programming of the center.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Three years of related experience.
• Experience supervising graduate and undergraduate students.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of student development best practices.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience in program planning and implementation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Master’s Degree with 5+ years of experience preferred.
