Part-Time Remote Physician

Overview

XRHealth is transforming healthcare through immersive virtual reality therapy. We are seeking a part-time, licensed physician to support remote prescribing of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) used for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic applications.

In Short

• Part-time, fully remote position for a licensed physician.
• Responsible for reviewing patient intake forms and clinical documentation.
• Evaluate medical necessity for VR devices used in therapy programs.
• Electronically prescribe DME in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams for remote workflows.
• Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.
• MD or DO with active medical license in multiple states required.
• Experience with remote care or digital health platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of DME prescribing regulations is a plus.
• Fully remote role with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• MD or DO with active medical license in multiple states.
• Eligible for or currently licensed through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) is a strong plus.
• Experience with remote care, telemedicine, or digital health platforms preferred.
• Experience with pain management, managing chronic conditions.
• Knowledge of DME prescribing regulations and/or behavioral health protocols is a plus.
• Comfortable using EMR/EHR systems and e-prescribing platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and professional integrity.
