Provider Credentialing Assistant - Remote

Overview

The Provider Credentialing Assistant is responsible for preparing and submitting provider credentialing applications to insurance organizations, tracking follow-ups, and supporting the credentialing process.

In Short

• Prepare and submit provider credentialing applications
• Maintain a detailed log in credentialing software
• Assist with intake documents and data input
• Monitor database for license and certification expirations
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in credentialing
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate or Bachelor preferred
• 1+ years of medical credentialing experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and adaptable demeanor
• Initiative and ability to follow directions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe
• Working knowledge of CAQH and PECOS preferred
