Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The Project Manager will support the project management team on delivering engineering deliverables on complex multidisciplinary mining and/or heavy industrial projects from start to finish.

In Short

• Support Resourcing and Budget Management
• Coordinate Engineering Deliverables with discipline leads
• Maintain man-loading planning
• Prepare and maintain project schedule and cost control reports
• Manage project changes
• Prepare and maintain HSE and Quality procedures for each project
• Handle Owner and Stakeholder Reporting
• Respond in a timely manner to project scope matters
• Capture and report lessons learned from projects
• Support Business Development efforts in proposal preparation

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment focused on Mining and Heavy Industrial clients
• 3 years of Project Management experience managing multidisciplinary projects
• EIT, CET or P.Eng. designation
• Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player
• Self-motivated individual looking for advancement opportunities
• Ability to interact with clients in a multi-disciplined environment
• Valid driving license
