Senior/Principal/Lead Electrical Engineer - Remote

Overview

Wood is recruiting Senior/Principal/Lead Electrical Engineers on a contract basis for present and up-coming projects. The positions are long term come with hybrid working. (Outside IR35)

In Short

• Review design packages for electrical systems and equipment.
• Prepare the Project Design Basis Document.
• Prepare project load lists based on the project scope.
• Produce technical reports and specifications for electrical equipment.
• Assist in electrical activities during the Front-End Engineering Development (FEED).
• Coordinate with Project managers on Electrical Engineering scope.
• Carry out analysis of major equipment selected in the design package.
• Review and respond to technical and site queries.
• Monitor contractor performance and work quality.
• Provide technical assurance for electrical discipline deliverables.

Requirements

• Experience in project execution in accordance with industrial standards.
• Good knowledge on Power system automation.
• Right to work in the UK for LTD contracts.
