Women in Global Health (WGH) is a dynamic organization dedicated to empowering women in the health sector worldwide. Founded in 2015 and registered as a US 501(c)(3) in 2016, WGH aims to amplify women's voices and promote gender-transformative leadership across global health. With a network of 58 official chapters in 53 countries, WGH focuses on engaging women, particularly those from under-represented regions such as Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, in health leadership roles. The organization operates as a hybrid model, combining a small core team of paid staff with a passionate global network of volunteers, and is committed to fostering financial sustainability and growth to enhance its impact.
