Senior Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

Wolcen is looking for a Senior Data Analyst that will be a member of our Marketing & Publishing team and empower our game teams with data-driven insights, tools and recommendations to make more data informed decisions, driving value for our business and players. This is a remote role, so you can be located anywhere in the European region and will report to the Head of Marketing.

In Short

• Support data-driven decision making for the entire funnel.
• Focus on gameplay events, retention, and monetization funnels.
• Deliver insights to optimize marketing performance.
• Proactively support data needs from Game Design or Production.
• Coach more junior team members of the Analytics team.
• Design game telemetry that meets analysis requirements.
• Create and maintain dashboards for different key areas.
• Identify new data sources to enrich understanding of players.
• Develop standardized processes for storing and sharing insights.
• Set up, monitor, and analyze A/B tests for campaigns.

Requirements

• Gaming industry experience with video game companies.
• Strong experience in an analytics role performing quantitative analysis.
• Good experience managing projects and building analysis plans.
• Expertise in SQL for data extraction from large sources.
• Experience in statistical modeling with Python or R.
• Data visualization experience (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Game Analytics, Mailchimp, Meta Ads.
• Background in a quantitative discipline (Analytics, Data Science, etc.).
