Overview

The STAT Registered Nurse ensures that the adult patient care is coordinated, integrated and evaluated consistent with policies, procedures and standards of care at NSMC. This role involves providing support and direct patient care to a variety of inpatient units during peak periods of activity.

Requirements

• Current RN License in the State of Massachusetts.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to interact effectively in difficult situations.
• Exceptional critical thinking skills.
• Intense attention and concentration required.
• Preferred: BSN or MSN.
• Preferred: CCRN certification.
• Preferred: NIHSS certification.
• Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
