Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide high-level financial support to the AMC Psychiatry Finance Office and its various divisions and programs, focusing on budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning.

• Provide financial oversight and support for Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry departments.
• Develop and consolidate the annual department budget.
• Perform monthly accounting tasks as part of the monthly close.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and prior year results.
• Prepare productivity dashboards for Clinical leadership.
• Lead special projects to improve financial processes and systems.
• Collaborate with division leadership to align financial plans with operational priorities.
• Evaluate relationships between hospital volume and department operations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and analyses.
• Communicate financial information to non-financial audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare finance environment.
• Proven track record in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
