Overview

The Physician Assistant will provide patient care in the Emergency Department on a nocturnist schedule, working under the supervision of an attending Emergency Medicine physician.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies required.
  • State license as a Physician Assistant required.
  • Experience as a licensed Physician Assistant preferred.
  • Skilled in taking medical histories.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in emergencies.
  • Knowledge of clinical guidelines.
  • Ability to establish working relationships.
  • Must be able to work night shifts.
