Overview

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities. This role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and educating patients and their families.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed as a physical therapist assistant in Rhode Island.
• BLS certification required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic skills in math and computer science.
• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques.
• Problem-solving skills for treatment planning.
• Ability to assess and interact with patients effectively.
• Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office.
