Senior Bookkeeper - Remote

Overview

The Senior Bookkeeper is responsible for end-to-end bookkeeping and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients, primarily churches and nonprofit organizations across Canada, ensuring accurate records and compliance with Canadian accounting standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with payroll processing is a plus.
