Intermediate Accountant - Remote

Overview

BUCHI is a world-leading business offering fully automated laboratory technology for R&D, quality assurance, and production. We are looking for a remote Staff Accountant who reports to US Finance and collaborates with team members to manage essential accounting functions.

In Short

• Perform incoming bank postings and month-end close activities.
• Manage and process accounts payable transactions.
• Oversee and process accounts receivable transactions.
• Post daily accounting transactions.
• Assist in preparing for and supporting the annual audit.
• Maintain records in accordance with company accounting policies.
• Execute additional accounting tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with team members effectively.
• Utilize SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in US accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Functional understanding of US GAAP.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Capacity to learn new systems such as SAP Business One.
• Financial analytical and detail-oriented abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Fluent in English in speaking, reading, and writing.
