• We have an opening for an Engineer in Training (Staff Professional II or III) on our Residential Development Team.
• This is a hybrid position working with our Cary/Raleigh, North Carolina team.
• Staff Professional II or III’s are registered professionals that lead and support assigned engineers.
• Responsible for designs and associated deliverables in the Land Development Department.
• Communicate with PMs and Assistant PMs about project and technical details.
• Participate in project meetings and create documentation.
• Review data, analyze information, and determine compliance with standards.
• Lead the creation of layouts, design concepts, and detailed design drawings.
• Calculate and prepare planning and design documents and reports.
• Initiate quality control processes and follow technical aspects of the Department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Registration as a Professional in the appropriate field of expertise (ex. EI/EIT).
• 1-6 years of related experience in field of specialty.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented.
• Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Understand planning and/or design concepts and methods.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to mentor technical staff.
