Product manager - Stock trading application (JIRA, requirements analysis, project management) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. As the Product Manager for our stock trading application, you will play a crucial role in driving the product vision, strategy, and execution to deliver an exceptional user experience for our customers.

In Short

• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for our stock trading application, from ideation to launch and beyond
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, prioritize features, and create detailed product roadmaps
• Utilize JIRA to manage project tasks, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of product features
• Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
• Work closely with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our diverse user base
• Analyze user feedback, usage data, and market trends to make data-driven decisions and optimize product performance
• Develop and maintain product documentation, including user stories, specifications, and release notes
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth implementation of features and timely resolution of issues
• Stay up-to-date with fintech industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our product remains competitive and compliant
• Present product updates, metrics, and strategies to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech or trading applications
• Strong proficiency in using JIRA for project management and tracking
• Excellent skills in requirements analysis and documentation
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from conception to launch
• In-depth knowledge of stock trading, financial markets, and the fintech industry
• Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and user experience (UX) design principles
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills to drive product decisions
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into product features
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Product Management certification (e.g., PMP, CSPO) is a plus
• Familiarity with relevant fintech regulations and compliance requirements
